Balouka is by the Oldenburg Showjumping stallion Balou Du Rouet. He has been bought on slowly and has just started his show jumping career by jumping double clear in the British Novice Open and coming 2nd and double clear in the Equissage Discovery and coming 1st on only his 2nd time out! He currently stands at 16.1hh and has 3 very correct places on the flat and shows enormous potential over a jump.

Balou Du Rouet is the perfect sports type, equipped with maximum elasticity in the basic gaits and first class jumping quality. His impressive rideability is of great importance for future sporting and breeding career.

His sire Baloubet du Rouet, is currently one of the most successful show jumping stallions at international level. No horse has ever achieved such a record in the World Cup series , 3 wins and 2 seconds in 5 consecutive years. To add to this magnificent record he has also been French 7 year old champion, team bronze at the Sydney Olympics and many Grand Prix and Nation Cup wins. Baloubets Sire Galoubet A has become a highly influential sire of such famous stallions as Touchdown, whose most prominent current mare is Liscalgot, Quickstar , Skippy II and Caloubet du Rouet. The dams pedigree is by Contendor and Georgette is modern and performance orientated and has already produced ' Sandrissimo' who is succesful in Championships and Grand Prix. Due to this depth of pedigree Balou is sought after as a breeding horse both in Germany and abroad.
