Premier Hofmeyer, a newly graded stallion and born in 2007, is by the outstanding stallion Hofrat with his grandsire being the unforgettable Gribaldi that has sired none other than the current world champion Totilas ridden so succesfully by Edward Gal.
Totilas Hofmeyer
Hofmeyer was placed 4th in the Shearwater National 4yr old dressage Horse Championships at Hartpury Festival of Dressage in July 2011. He is now being produced ready for the 5yr old classes by GP and hopeful 2012 Olympic rider Lisa White. Hofmeyer has also sired 4 fillies and 1 colt which can all be seen on our youngstock page. They all have fantastic laid back temperaments just like their father and also show 3 bold expressive paces.

The show was opened by Hofrat, the 2000 Reserve Champion in Neumünster. This dark bay by EH Gribaldi-Guter Planet was ridden by Dr. Frederic Bünger and can clearly be named as one of the top highlights. his breathtaking scope, balance and rhythm came hand in hand with maximum shoulder freedom, suspension and impulsion from his back end, which was perfectly transported over his swinging back. The stallion has recently been all over the news after his Hanoverian son Hotline became not only champion at the Hanoverian approvals in Verden, but also left the auction as the most expensive 2year old colt ever: Paul Schockemöhle and the Danish blue Hors Stud paid 800.000 Euro for this brilliant youngster, who only last week impressed during his first public appearance (under saddle) at Schockemöhle's stallion show. The press and public noted that they had never seen a barely 3 year old with such elasticity, one step like the other, balance and pretty much umatched cool temper ever. Superlatives seem not enough for this dark stallion, and Hofrat demonstrated in Handorf just where Hotline got his talent from.
His mother Wanda
is a full sister to Windsor Queen who is the dam of the Celle state stud LondonderryShe is the daughter of the Hanoverian Stallion of the year 2002, grand daughter of the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1999 which are just two of the many state premium stallions in Wanda's pedigree.
Wanda's father, the Celle State Stud Stallion, Warkant, was the 2002 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Born in 1983, he was the winner of the licensing of the Hunnesruck stallions. He started his breeding career in 1987 and from 1993 to 1998 he was stationed at Celle where he was one of the stars of the Celle stallion parades because of his excellent basic gaits and expressive trot. Warkant's offspring caused a sensation at auctions and competitions. 37 of his offspring were the best horses at their auctions and 13 of them sold for top prices of more than 50,000 Euros. Warkant is the sire of 46 State Premium Mares and his daughters have passed their performance tests with excellent results. 9 of his sons have been licensed. It follows that Warkant achieved a top breeding evaluation of 156 points and he is one of Hanover's top quality dressage stallions.
The use of Warkant on mares by the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1999, Eiger 1, has proved to be a winning combination. The stallion Wilberforce who sold for DM 400,000, Wanessa who became Bundeschampion in 1991 and Windsor Queen, dam of the 2002 Bundeschampion, Londonderry, who is full sister to Wanda.
