Breeding For Performance

Shadow was the highest priced foal at the Equilibrium sale in 1999 and has gained all the outstanding attributes from such a prolific breeding lines both from her Dam and Sires' pedigrees.

Shadow is by the dressage stallion Negro whose father was the unbelievable Olympic Ferro. The Dutch sensation competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted the team in achieving a team silver with an individual score of 74.92%.
Negro was unbeatable as a young stallion. He won both his 5- and 6-year old Stallion Show competitions in a highly convincing fashion, showing his judges and peers that he had all the qualities to excel at top sport. By the early age of 7, he was already winning at Prix St. Georges. Negro continues to excel at dressage and recently made his debut at Grand Prix, earning scores well into the 70's under his rider/trainer Anna van Olst.
